Ulcinj
Ulcinj is the southernmost and oldest coastal city of Montenegro near the border with Albania. It is recognizable by beautiful long sandy beaches and spectacular sunsets, of which the Velika plaza, Mala plaza, the island of Ada Bojana and the beaches along the Pine forests and Valdanos stand out.

What you shouldn't miss is definitely Ada Bojana. Thanks to the "good" wind, Ada Bojana is called "the capital" of the surfer on the Adriatic. Here you can experience the magic of surfing, kitesurf, windsurf. D'olcinium Kite Surf Club offers excellent entertainment with guest DJs during the summer months on the beach.
If you prefer something a little different, you can fill the day with a visit to the Ulcinj Solana where the exclusive guests - a large number of pink flamingos stay. Ulcinj Solana is the only place outside Africa, where you can see pink flamingos in such a large number.
Anchorage: In this part of Adriatic it is safe to anchor on locations:
- between Volujica cape and Deran cape, during south wind, nearshore 0,5 to 1 mile distance, it is 30-40m deep and sea bottom holds well,
-on 700 to 800 m south of Ulcinj marina, sea bottom holds well. This is the best anchorage in the south wind for this area.
Bar
The Bar Municipality is located in the south of Montenegro between the Adriatic Sea and the Skadar Lake. It represents a combination of modern, tradition and beauty. Known as the city of the sun, Bar has an average of 270 sunny days a year and is one of the sunniest places in southern Europe.

In Bar is the main and largest port of Montenegro, as well as a marina Bar that has 600 berths. It is ideal the starting point for navigation on the Montenegrin coast.
The main attraction of the Bar is the Old Town Bar, which is located 4km away from the seashore and the center of the Bar. In the Old Town, there are preserved ten churches, mostly in ruins (Cathedral of Svetog Djordja, St. Nikola Church, Church of St. Veneranda and St. Katarina), known as "open-air museum".

In the immediate vicinity there is a famous olive, over 2000 years old, which is a true tourist attraction for foreign visitors. Haj-Nehaj Fortress, Skadar Lake (the habitat of rare bird species and the largest lake in the Balkans) and King Nikola's Castle, are attractions that are also interesting to tourists.
Bar can boast of a large number of pebbly and sandy beaches.The most visited are: Gradska plaza, Crvena plaza, Utjeha, Veliki and Mali pijesak, Zukotrlica.
Places of good food and entertainment are: Savoia, Knjazeva basta, Portofino and Sea fort.
Anchorage: In sea territory behind the line Voluica cape-cape Ratac anchorage is prohibited, as at shore east of that line. Anchorage is allowed west of that line.
Budva
Budva, the tourist capital of Montenegro, is located in the heart of the Montenegrin coast. Due to its position, Budva is becoming more and more interesting to lovers of yachting tourism.

Marina Budva has 350 berths (yachts up to 70m). In the vicinity you can find all the necessary formalities when arrival and departure from Montenegro.
In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there is the medieval Old Town of Budva, which presents a treasury of cultural heritage, with interesting paved streets, squares and churches.
Budva boasts a number of attractive beaches, from which we suggest you visit some of the most famous: Mogren, Jaz, Slovenska plaza, Ricardova glava, Ploce, Kraljicina plaza.
On Sveti Stefan you can try traditional Montenegrin, Greek, Japanese cuisine in exclusive restaurants (Kraljicina stolica - NOBU, Olive, restaurant Adrovic Sveti Stefan).
Fantastic nightlife is one of the most recognizable features of Budva's summer, promises the best time in this part of Europe. True attractions for young people include numerous night bars, terraces, open-air discos, of which the most famous is Top Hill (2012 voted in Monaco for the best club in the world). Popular dance music festival Sea Dance is held at Jaz beach and attracts a large number of foreign tourists.
Anchorage: In this Adriatic port you should consider undersea sewage pipeline laid from Zavala cape to south 1,3 miles long.
In this area you can anchor:
- smaller vessels- east from port Budva, 7-8 m
- bigger vessels - in south winds can anchor on west-northwest from cape Zavala
- bigger vessels - in north winds can anchor on the northeast shore of St. Nicolas island.
Both of this anchorage holds well and depth is 12-15 m.
Herceg Novi

At about 5.7 nm from Herceg Novi, on the peninsula Lustica is one of the most attractive caves, Blue Cave. In this cave you can come with a smaller boat.

The advantage of this city is a large number of beaches: Zanjice, Miriste, Kamenari, Njivice, Yachting club.
Regarding the cultural contents of this city, there is summer stage in Kanli Kula, where is organized a famous film festival every year, Days of Music, guitar art summer.
Herceg Novi is a place of great fun, and some of the most visited clubs are La Bamba, Admiral, Prostorija, Cassa Igalo, Pub Got.
Anchorage: Anchorage is permitted west and east from port, in Meljine beach, near the port of Zelenika, or in front of Igalo (Topla beach). It is important to say that the end of this beach is shallow.
Tivat
Tivat is located in the central part of the Boka Bay and represents a modern tourist destination interesting to tourists.

The biggest attraction of Tivat and the whole Montenegrin coast is surely the Marina Porto Montenegro, which is considered the most exclusive marina on the Adriatic. The combination of a spectacular destination and modern marina will offer you a service on a world level. Marina Porto Montenegro has 450 berths (lengths from 12m to 250m) and provides services: fuel refueling (tax and duty-free diesel) possibility of short and long-term berth (up to 30 years), water and electricity supply, customs and immigration services etc.
As part of this nautical settlement along the sea, there are elite restaurants with international and local specialties (De Gustibus, Al Posto Giusto, Byblos, Murano, One), prestigious boutiques (Excelsior, Fashion Gallery, Genny, Heidi Klein, MaxMara, Misahara, Mooi, Perfume Shop, Shubeshu and Uzurii), luxury villas with beautiful sea view.
Regarding the nightlife in Porto Montenegro, in the center of attention are the Platinum club, The clubhouse and Library Bar.

Along the coast of Tivat, you can mostly find the concrete "ponte". However, in the suburb or on the peninsula Lustica there are beautiful sandy beaches such as Waikiki, Seljanovo, Movida, Solila.
Anchorage: In front of port Tivat there is a possibility for anchorage even of big ships, due to depth of 18-20 m. On east part of Tivat Bay (Podpolje beach) there are basins for breathing seashells and anchorage is strictly prohibited.
In Donja Lastva, on the east shore of Tivat Bay, between cape Seljanovo and strait of Verige anchorage is recommended in front of beach on depth of 30m. Sea bottom is sandy and muddy and holds anchor well.
Kotor
Kotor is located in the heart of Boka and is classified in the most well preserved medieval towns on the Adriatic coast. It is recognizable by the narrow curved streets within the city walls, numerous squares and restaurants.

When you arrive in the port of Kotor, which is increasingly attractive for yachting and cruising tourism, you will be welcomed by the authentic walls of the Old Town, a couple of minutes walking from there. The old town Kotor has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979.

If you want to get to know the history of this small town, visit some of the cultural attractions: Cathedral of St. Trifuna (XII), St. Nikola Church, St. Luka Church (XII), Napoleon's Theater (XIX), Sat Kula (VIII). For a fantastic view and incredible panoramic view of the Bay of Kotor, visit the St. Ivan (ex. San Giovanni).
The central place for great fun in this part of the Montenegrin coast is the Maximus disco, one of the most attractive nightclubs with the capacity for 4000 people.
Anchorage:
- 1 mile northwest from St. Stasije Church (Dobrota) on 30m depth
- 1 mile northwest from St. Stasije Church (Dobrota) on 30m depth
- southwest, or north from St. Mathews Church (Dobrota) on 16 m depth
- west-northwest from port light in port of Kotor on 16 m depth
- in the place called Prcanj on the west shore of Kotor Bay, during south winds is recommended to anchor near shore. The sea bottom is hard and muddy.
Concerning the beaches in this part of the Bay of Kotor, the concrete "ponte" prevails.
Some of the most exclusive restaurants on the Montenegrin coast where you can enjoy fish specialties, Mediterranean cuisine and traditional Montenegrin meals are located in this part of the Boka Bay. Highlights: Catovica mlini, Stari mlini, Galion, Verige65.
Perast
At 5 nm from Marina Kotor, there is a small fishing town Perast. The main features of this city are the uninhabited islands of Gospa od Skrpjela (Lady of the Rock) and Sveti Djordje, which at first glance leave the impression of floating on the sea surface.

Anchorage: It is in front of the town. When it is Bura (north wind) safer is on east side of Perast, and when winds blow south, near to west side, at the beginning of Risan Bay.
Risan
Anchorage: In this part of Boka Bay the safest place to anchor is in front of Port of Risan. Sea bottom is very muddy, so it holds anchor well if winds are from south, but you must lower both anchors if winds are north.
