Pilotage in Montenegro

Pilotage is compulsory for yachts of over 1000 Gross Tonnage that are in the Register and foreign yachts entering the waters of the Republic of Montenegro.

For yachts of over 1000 GT or mega yachts, hereof, pilotage is compulsory in the port of Bar and Bay of Kotor area (Port of Kotor, Porto Montenegro - Tivat, Port of Zelenika, Port of Risan, marina Kotor, marina Portonovi).

Boka Bay

Exception from pilotage service from authorized companies: pilotage is not compulsory for a yacht operated by a person who entered the same port more than five times, with previously granted permission from Harbour Master’s Office or Branch Office.
